The newborn Experience
When you invest in professional photography, you are documenting a valuable piece of your family's history for future generations.
As my client, your experience is of the utmost importance. From seamless booking all the way to gallery delivery, I strive to give you a luxury experience with timely and clear communication before, during and after your session.

When you fill out the contact form, I will get back with you within 48 hours. I want to know what your due date, is this your first or are you a pro mama? What is your vision for your newborn session, including who will be taking part in the session, the age of any siblings and if you have any special requests or concerns? I like to be prepared so no detail is too much!
Once we determine we are a good fit, we will get you officially booked!

2. let's get you booked
Once you have decided to schedule with me, I will send over a booking link via email which will have a standard contract for you to review and sign along with an invoice for your $200 retainer to secure your due date on my calendar. Your due date is a placeholder on my calendar and when baby is born we will set a firm session date. The retainer covers my time and talent and will be applied to the collection of your choice.
Once the booking link is complete, you are officially a KFP client and the real fun begins!
3. Session planning
Once you are officially booked we can plan the session. Feel free to send me any special requests you have or any inspiration or posing you would like to see.
I will guide you on outfit choices and I also have a client wardrobe available for my newborn clients if you wish to use it. I will send you photos of dresses I have available and you can choose. I also have a wide variety of swaddle wraps and outfits for baby so you don't have to worry about any of that! As your due date approaches I will send you a session prep guide so that you know what to expect on session day.
4. session day!
On session day I will arrive at your home and document your new sweet baby! I will start with individual photos of your newborn with a baby-led approach to posing. For family photos, I will coach you on standard lifestyle poses as well as capture candid "in between" moments such as sweet giggles, smiles, and your family members' unique personalities. I strive to create a comfortable and fun environment for your fam to enjoy the session rather than try to get through it. Newborn sessions typically last between 90 min-2 hrs but it all depends on baby, we go at their pace!
5. your photographs
After the session, within 2 weeks, I will send an edited proofing gallery through your email. There you will be amazed at the beautiful family you have created and will choose your favorite images! You will be able to purchase your collection based on the number of images you want. (See pricing details below.) Once your collection is purchased you will receive your final high resolution images for download.

Collections from $500
You should be able to choose the images you want to purchase, for this reason, I offer collections based on number of images. You do not choose your collection until you see the photos. My collections range from 10 photos to the full gallery of images (if you just can't choose!).
